Teen Moms Ryan Edwards is not happy about the way MTV has
portrayed him, his girlfriend Dalis and his parents on the show!

Last night we saw Maci and Ryan fight about a disagreement involving
Bentley's birthday! Since the airing of the show, Ryan and his family
have recieved alot of backlash on twitter..
What are your thoughts on last nights episode!??
He could of at less went after he told benntly he would be there he just going to have to face it there are time that he will have to do some thing with maci rather he wants to or not they have a kid toether.

DeleteWhether MTV does a "shitty job" of editing or not... it wasn't edited that he insulted Maci and cursed at her in front of their child.

Maci hasn't exactly come off looking too wonderful this season either. I think the show is pretty accurately portraying all of the drama and issues that come with having a child at a young age and then having to co-parent that child after the parents split up. There are very few people out there who have the wisdom and maturity to do it perfectly at such a young age as Maci, Ryan, Kyle, and Dalis are. However, Ryans mother is old enough and should be mature enough to be the voice of reason instead of creating more issues and acting just as immature as the rest of them. She is the only one I feel really comes off looking very badly and I don't think MTV is to blame for that.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of the editing or not Ryan is 100 percent WRONG.. He told Bently he would GO to that party thing.. And his folks did too. Well then to NOT show up and to blame Maci for it just is wrong. And what kills me is that his girlfriend needs to SHUT HER FACE. This is NOT the first time she has opened her gullet. Ryan blows off that poor kid a LOT. He did it when he was suppose to go get him at the day care facility. Bentley ASKED Ryan to go to the bday thing. Shame on him, his family and his dumb chick.

ReplyDeleteRyan is a better parent than maci now. small minded people don't want to see maci as anything other than perfect. huge misconception. she is spending less and less time with her kid.
ReplyDeleteFrom the looks of it, Ryan is the way he is because he has parents who didn't do such a great job. He's clearly acting the way he does because of who his parents are and how he was raised (even with cameras around). A lot of girls out there would side with Ryan because I hear a lot about "teen crushes" on this "teen parent" however, as a child development specialist, I was only able to watch one season with my daughter and just seeing the few moments the camera was able to catch of the parents of the teens, I am not surprised at the results. They need a lot of counseling but it seems like they also do a lot of the "nice" things they do because they have come to realize how they come off in the show when it is aired and they get ridiculed and criticized for it. I don't blame them, sometimes you don't see how bad you really are until you see yourself on tape and sometimes you don't see who you really are ever. From a observational standpoint, a lot of the parents fail to communicate with the "teen parents" on the show effectively thus, their children make mistakes and act the way they do.
