One of Teen Mom's most beloved Grandma's, Momma Dawn, lost her father
this past Friday. George Gibson died at 61 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
He was born April 3, 1952 in Charleston, WV a son of the late Amos
and Lorieana Marie Davis Gibson. He was self employed as a contractor and was an avid
Washington Redskins fan. He is survived by two children, Dawn Spears and
Shawn Kapek both of Charleston; three grandchildren, Victoria Messer,
Leah Calvert, Isaac Messer; three great grandchildren, Aleeah and Ali Simms,
Adalynn Calvert; four brothers, Arnold Clifford Gibson, Ronald Edward Gibson, Dale
Harless Gibson, Billy Ray (Julie) Gibson of Walker, WV; two sisters,
Edna King and Kimberly Ann Davis.
Leah tweeted out to her fans her grandpa's obituary and asked everyone to show their love and
support to help Momma Dawn through this tough time.
